Lucanus Jigging System

Has anyone used the new Lucanus Jigging System? I live in Miami and am dying to try it but I am not sure how well it would work here. It seems like it was designed for coldwater fishing.

I've not yet had a chance to try them, but all the reports I'm hearing are positive for bottom fish every where.
I'm told the key is a steady slow retrieve and to just let the fish climb up the tentacles of the jig and hook itself!
Also, to avoid the temptation of changing to a larger than standard hook, as it reduces the efficacy substantially.
