More halibut jig

Hi Larry,

I love the spinner idea on the halibut jig. My question is how deep were you using it. My home made spinner baits in that large size seem to spin when I'm letting it down. Also it makes it really hard to get down. I'm fishing from 135' down to 400' and hitting bottom can be a challenge.

Any advice? Thanks and I love your show. Always the most interesting one on!

We fished them all the way down to 300' . Weights varied up to 32 oz.
Play with spinner size and shape, length of wire.
