Hi Ed,
Whew, lots of questions!
I tied the diver in an effort to catch a particularly large bass that refused everything I threw at it. I was trying to duplicate the diving/resurfacig action of a musky lure called a Suick. Yes, I caught the bass 6lb 7oz.
The trail is a well known fishery. Very intimate.
I started flyfishing when I was 4 believe it or not. Panfish.
I'm not a certified anything, but I'm pretty comfortable with a flyrod.
Thanks for the post,
best,
L
