Larry,

I remember an episode of HFBF where you showed how you used to used woven Flashibou and clear resin to make line-through jigging spoons for saltwater fishing. I've been unable to find that video on MakeLure or elsewhere. Do you know if it's out there somewhere in cyberspace. I'd like to review that tutorial.

Sandie copied over my copy of it with a Julie Goodnight Horse Training episode. Priorities, I guess.

I think that piece is on the larrys workshop video. That is a killer lure. If I have time I'm gonna make a few for jump fishing stripers next week!

One last thought: if my idea pans out like I hope, I was thinking of eschewing trebles for a 6/0 Gamakatsu 18414R Live Bait with Ring hook. The ring will prevent the spoon from running down the shank, and the single hook will lessen damage to the fish.

Absolutely! We've done it lots of times and it works great. Also might try attaching a dead minnow to the single.
best,
