bull sharks

hi Larry,

I have another two questions for you please. I am going to Andros in April and I am just wondering about bull sharks near the reefs or when fishing on the flats. Do we have concern for this? Also, what flies and tackle would you recommend for jacks in the bights and around the reef?

hi nw,
In clear water you usually don't have to worry about bull sharks unless you have a fish in your pocket, but I always keep an eye out for them because they're not as friendly as they might seem on some of the shark petting shows.
I'd toss popping bugs at the jacks.
