Still loving my Calcutta 400d reel

I haven't been on the forum in quite a while. Hope you are doing well.
I'm still loving my 400d for pike and inshore / near shore saltwater. It really demonstrates its value when a big one is on the line. It just brings them in reliably. Way better than comparable reels I've used, especially the ones that have exploded in my hands. It's been a real workhorse for me. And so easy to use.
They really did a nice job designing that one.
I love those wide glides too. I started with the small ones and they instantly became a go to lure for me. Just started using the big ones late last summer too and I like them a lot. Super high quality and good value for the money. Just went to Hi's in Frisco, and bought my first whopper plopper. Haven't tried it yet, but am about to test the long cast claim on Mille lacs and the Gulf.
