What is your recommendation for a spinning reel for adult Tarpon. Mostly sight casting on the flats and casting to them with soft plastics. What rod and spinning reel setup can reach long distances with accurate casts? It's something I do 4-5 trips a year so I don't need to break the bank but I don't mind buying the best...can always use it on Muskie newbies in my boat not used to a baitcaster...thanks!

There are many that will do the job. Van Staal or Accurate if you're looking for a "lifetime" reel that won't have parts discontinued after a few years.
shimano, diawa, penn (a product category winner at icast), or the Quantum saltwater series which is a great value and has gained popularity the past several years with saltwater guys tossing bigger stuff. Okuma also has a newly designed spinning reel with a beefed up drag and almost double diameter spool shaft.
