loop knot

Larry,

I'm headed down to Belize next week to chase tarpon. I'd like your opinion on the perfection loop to tie on the fly. In the past I've used homer Rhodes and no slip knots, but it's easier for me to tie the perfection loop once I start seeing fish, get all jacked up and lose my fine motor skills. I just think the perfection loop is easier to tie. How does it test on your machine?

It tests poorly, but in heavy hard 130# mono shock leader of the type you will use for tarpon it shouldn't matter because your tippet will break first.
