Hi Larry,

For summer tarpon in Trinidad is low-vis line important. Fireline make line in smoke and what t hey call low-viz. I sone better than the other and which lines do you prefer? How long of a fluro carbon leader do you recommend?

I've never had a big problem with line vis and tarpon, but if I was worried about it, I'd go to mono, or super long leaders.
regarding leaders, it depends on the style of fishing.
If I'm plug casting I use a a leader around two feet long.
Live bait, usually 4' if I'm pitching it, a little longer if not.
If longer leaders were called for, I'd go all out and make 10-50 foot wind-on leaders of 80, 100, and 130#, and use the heaviest I can get away with.
How big are the fish? What are you catching them on? what part of trinidad? ever fish the Orinoco delta?
good luck, hope this helps.
