Hi Larry,
Love your show and catch it whenever it is on. I was wondering I am going to the Coiba region of Panama in a few months and was going to bring some fly equipment. Was wondering what to bring and also what flies to tie for tuna and some of the other quarry we will be going for. Any suggestions would be welomed. Also do you think that solunar charts are worth following when planning a trip like this? I can go either when the moon is just off full or when it is waxing and will be full on the last couple of days of our trip. thanks for your help.

Hi H,
I've always had my best bluewater luck on either side of the full moon. I'd go right after. but always remember, "they bite when you get there"
For tuna I'd suggest smaller stuff, baitfish imitations 2-4" long, blues, greens, purple, pearlescent colors tied on strong hooks.
good luck,
L
