Hey Larry. It was great meeting you and having some great discussions with the Bloody Decks guys. What is your overall opinion of the BFT fishing on PEI?

Hi G
Great meeting you as well. Hmmmm not sure how to answer your question. Based on the number of boats fishing, the size of the area and the number of hook-ups on these giant critters, I would say it's an amazing fishery with a better chance of catching a 500+ pound fish (much less a tuna!!) than almost any place in the world. About the only other species where you have a good shot at a fish that size might be Jewfish or one of the larger shark species.

I think we are both very fortunate to have had the chance to experience it while it still exists! The only thing I would do differently is bring my own stand-up rods!!
best,
L
