The Hunt For Big Fish with Larry Dahlberg

Hi Larry,

Do you think the aforementioned setup would be all right for casting large plugs (80lb Power Pro) for tarpon, cobia and other bruisers? I already have the rod. Or perhaps the rod is too stiff.

I've not fished that rod so I really can't say. you'll just have to give it a shot. reel oughta be fine. I'm hearing good things about the new "one size smaller than a tranx" diawa. probably worth checking out.
