hi larry everyone has been telling me that sword fish i s not a fish to catch on fly i want a 200 on fly. if it can be caught on 8, i can do it with a big tibor pacific and an 700 grain fly line on a 15 weight i have alot of connection because i do work at a tackle shop in south florida wats your opinion?

Of course it can be done. I know guys that catch them on flies regularly in the indian ocean. But, I'd suggest starting out with something heavier than 8# test.
