I have a complaint. I bought a Curado 300 in part because you gave it high marks. I do a lot of inshore fishing around Mobile Bay and Mississippi Sound for cobia, redfish, speckled trout, tripletail, flounder, etc . and have used, as my favorite reels a pair of Calcutta 200s for the past ten years. Now all I want to fish with is the Curado. It casts better, has a faster retrieve and seems to have just as much cranking power as the old Calcuttas. The two Calcuttas sit unused in the rod racks. This year, so far, I have caught fish ranging from 40 pound cobia to two pound flounder with the Curado and it has performed equally well on them all.
