Larry, Have you ever fished Lake Guntersville, AL. Alabama's largest lake and known for huge bass. Lakes main cover is hydrilla and milfoil. GREAT with frogs in summer months, especiall july, august, september. Later winter bite starts on top water, zara spook type baits when water reaches mid to upper 40's. Would like to recommend it.
