hey larry, got a good question for you, what kind of leader do you use with your whopper ploppers and wide glides, and where can I get them. Oh yea, I really love your show, thats what I call entertainment.

I make leaders from either coated or uncoated wire. Usually use 49 strand, sometimes 7 strand) in sizes ranging from 45# at the lightest to 90# at the heaviest.
Also use lightweight saltwater style snaps and no swivel where the line and leader meet. Either a direct tie with a bimini in the power pro and a double nail knot connecting it to nylon coated wire, or crimp using a light weight welding ring instead of a swivel.
best,
L
