Sebile splashing

Postby Krippes » Thu Nov 25, 2010 2:48 pm

I have been reading a popper issue on sport fishing mag when i see that the 250 sebile splasher is a 9 inch monster. My first thought, how would a musky like that?
My question Larry, is i see on your site you have used this for GTs (can't wait to see that episode) have you tried or considered this bait for musky. I got some interest from fish with a Yo-yuri bull this summer, working it so it made super large splashes, but no hits. I have to admit i didn't work to hard on it, but the idea got my attention.

I've tried them some, but must admit that historically I have never had much success on stop and go chugging type lures for esox. That being said, I am certain if fished similarly to how we fished GT's , a fast blurbing walk the dog, I suspect they would be effective at times. You can cast them a country mile so they have great potential for covering water or giving you distance for conversion.
