HI B
Learn the intimate details of when, where, how and why of all the critters you are going to pursue, get a license, organize the details regarding meeting, greeting, housing and feeding your clients and begin to build a clientele. Some of the best advertising is word of mouth, so IMO it's critical to under promise and over deliver on every single outing.
You've got to get the pump primed in the beginning and that often takes advertising and promotion which can take many form from email blasts to good customer lists of known hunters and anglers, to conventional ads in vertical publications, to speaking to groups or clubs or whatever your imagination provides you!
It looks glamorous but it ain't easy. You're the first one up every day and the last one to bed, plus the guy who get the heat if things don't work out. But, it sure beats sitting behind a computer or being holed up in a corporate cubicle!
best of luck to you!
