Flashabou is available in several different widths and thicknesses. All of my DCG's are made with straight magnum.
This is not a 100% rule of course, but sually the smaller the fly, jig or lure, the finer and narrower the flashabou needs to be.
It can be mixed with different widths of the same material or with other synthetics or even natural materials.
