multipurpose spinning reel.

Postby salmonneed help » Mon Mar 29, 2010 11:40 pm

hey guys, looking for a new spinning reel. something i can throw on an 8'6 rod for steelhead drifting, and then put to my 7'0 rod for lakes. i don't want to get that large of a reel. and price range is little bit above budget say $150 tops. any suggestions would help. looking for the best reel for the money reliable, durable, lightweight, good line cap. all that jazz. help me if you can!

In the 100$ range I'm a big fan of the Shimano Symetre series reels. The 3000 series would probably fit the bill perfectly for you.
