Creepers & Globes & Pacemakers Oh My!

Postby Big Chip Chopper » Mon Mar 30, 2009 7:39 pm

Larry,
On the lake that I fish a lot! Lots of local legends seem to have great success on these three baits I mentioned in the title. My problem is that I have purcased many of these baits and have thrown them until I am blue in the face with ZERO action. I have tried them at all times of the day, year and conditions. I bring them fast, slow and everything in between. They look so darn good coming in that half the time I tempted to jump in and bite them myself. I just can't buy a bite on these things. Would you happen to have any words of wisdom to help out or am I just having a goooooood run of bad luck?
Much appreciated!

Hmm
That seems odd. Suggest getting up earlier, fishing later!
I've never done well with the globe either, but there are lots of great surface lures. My favorites are those with unbalanced tail props and I like to bend the prop so it makes more of a popping noise than a swishing sound.
best,
