Hagg receives a good deal of pressure being one of the lakes close to Portland. Due to the pressure it receives, the majority of the time...you'll do better going smaller than what you use most other places.

On any given day, you can catch fish on any of the normal bass rigs. Plastics, crankbaits, swimbaits, jigs, spinnerbaits, topwater, etc.

Smallmouths are much more plentiful at Hagg than Largemouths. So make sure you fish appropriately.
