drop a shrimp on a hook (1/0) and sinker in a deep eddy, just a few inches off the bottom. It's easy to find them with a depthfinder. they show up like a cloud.

Hey guys,
Excuse my ignorance but whats is a Coebi? My extensive search of GOOGLE returned nothing. I suspect it's a local name for the fish , yes?
Thanks
Paul

Not sure of exact species. Broad body, silver mirror like scales, up to 8 lbs. found in larger rivers of south america. Looks like a sheephead. even has a rock in its skull.
Exist in large highly migratory schools, usually in deep water eddies. 3 way rig, shrimp. straight down.
Highly valued as a food fish by residents.
