Dear mig rod,my apologies i am frustrated because everybody gives me an answer that says things that i dont even understand or where to find it.PS: i am 13 years old

No reason for apologies Miguel, I can see you are frustrated. Peacock bass can do that to an angler. I'm after a trophy sized one myself. Have you tried this site, it has some great Peacock Bass information.

By the way, in regards to lures, rule of thumb is match the hatch. Meaning, depending on where you are fishing, Peacock bass like to eat brightly colored cichlids. So get a lure that looks similar to that specific bait fish. And if using live bait, the best would be to net the bait fish the Peacocks are eating in that particular area. For example, in my area the Peacocks love to eat midas cichlids and spotted tilapia. The best way of hooking with a Peacock is catching a midas or spotted tilapia and using it as live bait.
