Hey Larry: Heard one of Jason's clients broke his world record yesterday with a bass weighing in at 50lbs.

However believe he used too heaviy of line to qualify for the IGFA record.

Guys: Made an error on previous post. The 50lbs PNG bass was indeed landed on 30lbs braid, not heavy line which I first reported. Sorry about this as always try to get this right the first time!

Believe larger bass are yet to come as excess of 70lbs have been seen in those remote rivers. Now a matter of landing them is a different story!
