Larry I love the show and I cant say enough how much I enjoy the fact that you dont have all that crazy music in the background and if you do its not so loud. I like the sounds of the enviroment your in to come through. I also appreciate any info on the lures, line and time of year your fishing wherever your fishing. Anyway Im going fishing for some Shovel heads here in Ohio in April. Any ideas about the rig I should use. On the bottom or float??/ Live or dead bait??? Structure??/ location from shore or near tributaries. Thanks again Im glad your shows on so often now.

hi matt
with the high water things could be pretty strange. only rule that holds is, "find the best source of available bait"!! There should be some serious concentrations with the flooding, and it could be in an unconventional place. If tribs are relatively higher or lower than main stem they could be very important. What rig depends on what spot looks like, how bait is holding.
good luck!
