Larry
I fishing at the mouth of a dam that connects to a river that runs under bridge. I had success catching 10-20lb cats under the bridge with med sized suckers ridge under a bobber. But what i was wondering where in the dam would be a ideal place for a bigger cat. And what type of rigs and baits do the larger cats pefer. And when fishing River Eddys i read that the best way is to be upstream casting downstream placing your rig alongside of the eddys. Is this the best way to fish a eddy?

Hi EH
In my experience the biggest ones are literally under the dam.
I like fishing under the structure in a slot where they're not running a unit that's next to a bunch that are running.
Otherwise below the wingwalls or the stairstep where the apron of the dam ends.
Also where ever the fastest water and deepest rocks are.
best,
L
