Hey L Im really hooked on your show but i really like the sturgeon episode. I have never been fishing for them before. Im looking for tips or tricks and where to locate them in the river.

John-

The only sturgeon readily available to you in Central Indiana are shovelnose sturgeon. They get 3-5#. Wabash river would be the place to go for them.

No monster white sturgeon or belugas like Larry chases.

Good luck

Tony

hi ch
Fish both the buckets (deepest part) and the tailouts of the deepest holes with a size 1/0 hook and a couple of crawlers.
Depending on legal season you will find best concentrations in spring during spawing run, and again in fall.
good luck
