ECHIP Good or Bad

Has anyone tried echips out? They send a eletronic pulse out that imitates injured or dying bait. I got some yesterday and was wondering if anyone has found them effective, the idea is great. thanks

I fished a tournament last summer on the Ca Delta that was hosted by Persuader American. They were just coming out with this chip on their spinnerbaits and jigs. This lure option was only an extra dollar or two and basically came attached on the hook shank. I did catch fish swimming the e-chip jig and blade,but cannot say if it helped or not. One thing is it didn't hurt!

imo this is something that just helps put another positive in your hands. Kind of like red hooks or trimming your skirt.
