Larry, what would be your preferrable approach to big post frontal pike? Would you treat it the same way you would muskies? Or more like bass tucked into the slop?
Also, i vaguely remember a show you did years ago somewhere up north for big pike.. I wanna say it was in MN. You were fishing with a family and the mother of the family was making her own lures and you were landing some huge pike.. What exactly were you using?

It depends on their habitat options, time of year, and where they were set up prior to the front!
Once you have an idea where they are it's usually best to fish really slow either with lure that suspends or bumps bottom.
I use Mr Whiggley a great deal, put heavier hooks on floating minnow lures to make them suspend, or use a jig and very large pork rind.
