Questions about Freshwater Fishing

Larry...

On a particular ill be fishing soon, in which the water is very clear, what approach would you prefer to take? I have the same philosophy you do to start shallow and work deep. But this particular lake has a very distinct weedline at 15-18 feet that holds a lot of fish all the time. Being that the water is very clear would you still recommend starting shallow at the risk of possibly scaring or moving the muskies sitting a little deeper or start at this tried and true weedline?
Thanks

If they're hanging out in eighteen foot deep weeds I would not worry much about scaring them.
good luck
