Dear Larry The King,
Caught this gar This weekend past....predominately yellow pigmentation..just wondering if you ever had any similarly unique colored fish over the years?
Thanks,

Interesting critter. I've caught a few pike in various places, and even a few big largemouth from slop/rice/basin lakes that had that same yellowish tinge. Always assumed it had something to do with the water chemistry.
Thnks for the post.

Larry,
i was cruising the shallows one day trying to shoot carp and i spotted a bass guarding a nest that was all white...black head with a few black spots immediately after the gill plates...reminded me of a Coach Dog Hula Popper
