The Hunt For Big Fish with Larry Dahlberg

The Dahlberg Diver is a great fly for pike but I find that pike often inhale it deeply. Would it be effective to tie it with a circle hook?

I'd say give it a try, but I think you would miss many many fish because they don't turn right away after striking. I think a better solution will be to tie larger flies.
