Hey Larry,I Plan On Making Some Fishing Spoons From Scrap Brass At Home what would Be the best way to do this and is brass easy to melt being a soft metal.

Brass takes lots of heat to melt. You might try just tapping and forming it with a hammer and anvil.

You could make a mold of your spoon and then use it as building/construction material.

Approximate Melting point of lead - 621 deg. F.
Copper - 1981
tin - 450
zinc - 787
Bismuth - 520
Brass - 1675 deg. F.

As Larry was saying, melting scrap brass is probably not the best way to do it.
