Quick species question

Is the nile perch the same thing as a barra or barramundi?

No, but they sure do look a lot like each either. The Nile perch is native to the Nile Drainage while the "barra or barramundi" is native to Australia.

Genetically they are quite different.
I think my bucket list has a hole in the bottom!

actually, the snook, nile perch, and barramundi are quite similar.
