Clown Knifefish

Larry,

You ever go after Clown Knifefish? I was told they're excellent fighters for their size by my friend who went on a fishing trip in Thailand seeking Meekong Catfish. Also, when are you going to do a show over the gian fishes of the Meekong?

Clown Knife

Clown Knifes are unique fish and decent fighters. They can get to be a
good size 10-12lbs. They also like to take to the air. I have been to
Thailand twice to fish. Mekongs are strong fish but most of the fishing
done for them is in stocked lakes. There are other freshwater fish over
there that are very good game fish. The Giant Snakehead, Jungle
perch, and other various catfish. My favorite is the Giant Snakehead.

On a side note here in Florida there is a lake that has an established
population of them (clown knifes) and the biggest one to date is I believe
10lbs.

hi A,
Nope, but I've used a fish called a Morena, which I've been told is a clown knife, for bait while fishing dorado in argentina and it's highly effective!
best,
