I'd be interested to know the advantages and disadvantages of ceramic plugs.

Good ? Questor, The advantages are great casting distance due to the compact size and weight to mass ratio. Fish can't mare the surface due the the extreme hardness of the glazed ceramic formulation. They have good swimming action at both fast and slow retrives. The disadvantages are they are all sinkers, so you have to be good with your gear and careful in thin water.
