Hi Larry, Caught your Muskie seminar at Cabelas in Rogers on Sat. Lots of fun.

I have a double question. First on the Kite fishing techniqe can you explain how you rigged the Sucker and Kite? I want to try that on Mille Lacs on Leech this season. Also those shimanno reels with the 7:1 gear ratio, would that be prefferred for throwing big bucktails like a couble cowgirl?

Hi T,
I'd suggest something with lower gears for cranking in those man-killer bucktails!
The kite is set up just like a down rigger or side planer. Just takes a little practice adjusting the bridle to keep it flying!
