Sufix

Postby Chris M » Mon Mar 19, 2007 5:42 pm

Sufix is everywhere now. Everybody on TV is switching to Sufix. I figure I gotta try it. What type of Sufix line do you recommend for fishing off jetties? I'm thinking fluorocarbon...?

I saw some Sufix Titanium somethin or other. Sounded like what I'm lookin for but they didn't have it in a big enough # for my confidence.
I know you like Siege but isn't that a mono? I've been using multi layered lines, but I want to be Dahlbergized! I'll try it.

Sufix Tritanium is extremely popular with the northeast florida surf fishing crowd. Strong and very abrasion resistant. I prefer it to Siege but prefer Elite over both. Elite is very supple and lasts along time on the spool before memory forces me to remove it.

I use suffix tritanium on all my reels, casting and spinning. 17lb test and have no problem with it or do not lack confidence in it. One sturdy good line with good knot tying. Biggest fish was 38lb drum off the beach with the 17, no problem. Try it you'll like it.....
