Hey Larry, thanks for the help on the reels, I am going with the TE. Another question. I am getting a Calcutta 400 and 700TE and a Curado 300 and looking for a GREAT rod for them, and you help me match up a GREAT rod? I need a good all round rod. I will fishing from a boat, beach pier and throwing everything from live bait to bucktails and plugs.

Hi andrew,
i'd suggest checking out the Crucial crc MH or H, Crucial Swim Bait rods, and the Calcutta Inshore series.
A great deal depends on how long or short you prefer the butt lengths, which vary from about 9 to 14 inches.
