Lately I've Been Getting Skunked And Wondered If The Fish Are Spooked By The Braided Line And Wondered If I Should Go Back To Using Mono

There's only one way to find out, and that's to either switch back entirely or use a short length on mono or fluorocarbon in front of the braid. It can sure be a factor under conditions where fish are spooky and or very clear water. Line color can be important, as can line stiffness and line diameter and of course, stretch. It all depends on what specific kind of fishing you are doing as well. How large are the lures or bait, fished fast or slow, deep or shallow, vertically or horizontally?
