hmmm. I'd the the jury is still out. Have to wait and see how they cast in an actual fishing situation. Personally I'm still in the range where I could buy three or four rods for that amount of $$ !! In my experience, the taper is number one, followed by material.
At the end of the day it all comes down to "value" for me. Gotta ask yourself, if for each incremental price point increase if there is a corresponding increase in performance.
