Glow in the Dark and Allumidust

Postby TylerKain1994 » Wed Feb 10, 2016 11:18 am

Hello,

I love the look of allmidust and customization of it. I would love if I could use glow n the dark with the allmidust. My question is, since allumidust doesnt come in any glow in the dark colors, do I need to mix my glow n the dark powders with my plastsol before i pour so that it settles in it or is there a different way you reccomend?

Thank you,
Tyler Kain

any way you apply it, the glow will glow. only thing that will mess it up is if it's totally blocked from light.

You can also use Alumilite dyes which are completely translucent with the Phosphorescent Powder. Add the powder and the dye to make a glow in the dark red or blue or whatever color you wish. It doesn't work as well with the black or fluorescent colors as they contain particles that make them opaque colors that will, as Larry said, block or interfere with getting light to and from the Phosphorescent Powder.
