ICE-OUT PIKE / and...MR. WHIGGLEY

Postby richmchugh » Wed Apr 08, 2015 9:53 am

Hi Larry --
am heading to Northern Manitoba in late May for some pike fishing. Have had success with very small spoons, Johnsons, cleos etc. Do you have any suggestions for fishing post-spawn pike? We typically find them in the shallow bays, warmest water in the lake. But sometimes can't get em to move. Have also had success with sluggos, so I am thinking some Mr. Whiggley would work well, perhaps a smaller one? But I can't find any online. Please help.
Thanks,
RM

I've caught some giants on whigs early in the year. You can still get the pike color, which is excellent for giant pike, in the estore on this website.
