Hi. I'm replacing treble hooks on a number of my plugs with single J hooks to reduce damage on undersized stripers. Do you recommend placing the rear hook facing up or down? Thanks.

Not sure if it matters, but I'd place it up.

After thinking about it, maybe remove the front hook and put the rear on a swivel so the hook automatically targets the corner or the mouth.
