Hollow Bodies?

Is there a way to make hollow bodied lures? I wanted to make some hollow frogs.
What about making a tube jig, is that possible?
And finally, I wanted to make a lure like the Yamamoto Hula Grub... Is that possible? I know the detail of the "trailers" strings hanging of may be hard, but how would I do that?
Thank you,
Seth

You can make a hollow frog with a rotating mold and use one of the Flex rubbers. Easiest way to make a tube is to dip a mandril in hot plastisol. you can make the mandril out of hardwood, skulpy clay, alumilite resin, etc, anything that won't melt at 300 degrees or so.
do multiple dips until you get the thickness. let it cool then either peel it off or give it a little shot with an air hose.
the other way would be to make a detailed hard proto, and cast an injection type mold with an airhole out each tentacle.
best,
L

Thank you for replying so quickly... one more question.
What's a rotating mold? Do you have any videos of you doing it? If not do you think you will have one in the future?

Rotating the mold like slush casting ... basically warm your mold, pour mixed Flex 30 into it, close the mold so it is water tight (no open pour hole), and slowly tumble it every which way in your hands for 5-7 more minutes. Then lay it flat so the base of the belly of the frog would be on the bottom and allow it to cure.
