I am not sure what you mean by rubber. Alumisol can be remelted indefinitely with addition of softeners, the RTV silicons used to make molds cannot be melted with means available to normal humans.

Alumilite's Remelt is a reusable mold making material that can be melted down time and time again to make new or different molds. The down side of it is that it is only good for low temperature casting materials ... less than 120F. Anything higher than that will melt the Remelt mold.

Remelt is used for polymer clays, texture pads, chocolate, fondant, ice, slow curing resins that exotherm very low, and any other low exotherm casting materials. So unfortunately it is not good for Alumisol or our rapid cure casting resins.
