Dog days

Things are slowing down for me out there, not that it was ever really hot... My boat is currently in a coma, so I've been stuck on the shores this year. PLUS, I've got a fishing partner that has the patience of a 5 year old, because he's 5 years old.
How's everyone else doing out there?

LOL - taking a couple of those young fishing partners out tomorrow morning. I know what you mean, but it is still fun to see and hear the kids when they catch even a 6" Bluegill.

I have not had the time and money to do much fishing this year, but it has been good when I went. Fished for Walleye a couple of weeks ago and even though it was hot as the fires of Heck, calm as inside a building, as long as I found shade on a cliff side I found Walleye eager to take my jigs or rigs. Nothing big, but lots of them.

I feel for you with your boat in a coma, I would be like a fish (erman) out of water without one. We are in a cooling trend right now, but ....... otherwise I would probably switch to night fishing.
