It would no longer be Mr Whiggley. It would be like a magic swimmer or a myriad of other multi jointed baits. One of the secrets of why Whigs so well is that it actually stores a small amount of energy while "bent" and releases it on slack. Several years ago I experimented using flexible titanium alloys rather than a hinged joint in hard plastics and it has potential, but got side tracked with some other projects and have not revisited it.
good question though!

Holy Smokes! Flexible Titanium Alloys?!? That made me think of Terminator 2. Too bad Rapala has the rights to that, that would be an advertiser/marketer dream! I'm picturing Arnold slowly sinking into that molten metal.
Ugh, I need to get out and fish more I think.

I was thinking the name of a lure using Flexible Titanium Alloys HAS to be called Terminator! Or Cyborg Swimbait? Robotic Rattle? Futuristic Fishing? It just sounds so highly evolved, it needs a name to represent it! Ha, I should keep this nerdiness to myself, I think...

All joking aside, I am looking forward to more videos for many more years to come! Larry's Workshop is the best thing ever! Give Mojo a piece of jerky for me!
