Hello everyone. Brand new to the board but plan on becomming a member of your community.
I had the pleasure of seeing and listening to Mr. Dahlberg last weekend at Thorne Bros. Spring Sale. I'm just fascinated by Mr. Dahlberg's stories and helpful tips and tricks, I was really excited to hear what he had to say.
I was interupted a couple times by the late arrival of family who were meeting me at Thorne Bros. and a potty break for my 5-year old son, but still got some great tips, fascinating lure modifications, and even got to hold Mr. Whiggley! (My son's favorite part)
Anyway, the highlight was when my son and I were able to get a Wide Glide and Whopper Plopper package autographed by the man himself. Larry spent at least 10 minutes entertaining my son and niece with simple conversation and humor. I really have to agree with another community member in a different section that Larry is nicer than what he appears on TV. I'm not sure if my son will remember meeting the legend, but it's certainly something I'll never forget, and I sincerely thank you for your time and taking the time to have some fun with the kids.
I have a tendancy to make short stories long, so appologies for my awkward introduction.
